Dr. Cathy Yuen earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry. She completed her clinical training at the Hoopes Vision Refractive Surgery Center in Utah, Walla Walla Veterans Affair Medical Center in Washington, and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Florida. She also completed a residency at SUNY College of Optometry with emphasis in ocular disease. Prior to moving back to NYC, Dr. Yuen served on the faculty at the Flaum Eye Institute of the University of Rochester Medical Center where she provided comprehensive care for patients of all ages and co-manages patients with subspecialties including oculoplastics, glaucoma, cornea, retina, uveitis, and neuro-ophthalmology. She is an active member of the American Academy of Optometry and the New York State Optometric Association.
